The online version of this software has been developed by the same team that made the desktop edition as seen in Officeworks and Harvey Norman a few years ago. There have been some enhancements based on user requests but we kept it as similar as possible.
I really wanted my own house but without a formal plan every week my pay just found a way to get spent and it was never in reach to have a deposit. By making a budget and having a plan it got me excited enough to watch the deposit grow and look for ways to do it faster. Home Budget helped me kind of like a trainer at the gym... it kept me motivated to watch my money.
I probably started watching my spending a bit late and I had already dug a hole for myself. Starting a budget when you think things are hopeless can be a bit hard but with the cashflow plan I saw a way to dig myself out and from now on I will always keep a closer eye on things.
Getting started with Home Budget seemed daunting but once a few transactions went in and the graphs started to come alive I think I logged in nearly every day to see how things were going. Even finding a receipt is not an issue because they are in there now.

Yes! Your data is stored in a world class data centre in Adelaide Australia and only secure access is permitted via the app or website. Critical data is also encrypted so it cannot be read even by our programming team! We are talking about money and we create financial products so we take security very seriously.
Your account remains as it was when it expired and you can still access your data however no new transactions are permitted. It can come alive again at any time by simply subscribing for a period. Data will not be deleted unless it has been neglected for more than a year ( even then we will contact you before doing anything).
Yes they are! Any subscription made on the website or on the app permits the user to login from any device at any time. The app is free to download however it has limited functionality as it is designed to collect data for the website not be a full blown financial tool.
The short answer is no. The private nature of data held in this software requires that the owner is the only one authorised to speak to us about their account. We consider the owner to be the holder of the email account and mobile number associated with this account. If a person is sharing their account with a partner, all correspondence and authorisation will relate to the email account holder only.
